Is it time to get rid of your holiday tree? Yep, fir sure… 🌲

Bring it to us for FREE at Jolon Road Transfer Station in King City or Johnson Canyon Landfill in Gonzales through the end of January. As a thank you for choosing a sustainable recycling method for your live tree, Atlas Organics is giving 23% off their premium compost at Johnson Canyon. Your garbage haulers will also accept your tree for a limited time on regularly scheduled pick-up days.

Here are some tips to make sure your tree gets recycled:
🌲 Tree must be free from all decorations – lights, ornaments, tinsel, etc
🌲 NO flocked or tinted trees accepted
🌲 No tree stands accepted

Here’s what to know depending on where you live in Salinas Valley:
📍 Salinas Residents: Republic Services will accept your trees curbside or in the yard waste cart until January 13 & cut into 4ft sections. 📍 Gonzales, Soledad, & Greenfield residents: Tri-Cities Disposal will accept your trees curbside from January 2 – January 13, or you can cut and place them in your yard waste cart. http://www.tri-citiesdisposal.com/s/2022-Holiday-Mailer-4-Pannel-Tri-Cities.pdf

📍 King City & Unincorporated Monterey County residents: through the end of January, trees must be placed in your yard waste cart with the lid closed.
