SVR Take-Over of the Johnson Canyon Landfill Operation in 2015

After a competitive process, SVR took over Johnson Canyon Landfill and Materials Recovery Center at a lower cost than the lowest cost proposal, including planning, financing, staffing, and acquisition of equipment for the operations. In its first year of in-house operation, SVR staff has reorganized the facility to accommodate a self-haul customer drop off area to increase efficiencies and customer safety.
